Encourage creativity by decorating old jean pockets with fabric paint, glitter, sequins, and stick-on jewels. Create a denim mural and host an exhibition to support Jeans for Genes.

What you need: The back pocket of a pair of jeans Fabric paint Glitter Sequins, stick on jewels and any other stick on accessories MAKE JEWEL JEAN POCKET • Dig out old pairs of jeans and cut out the back pocket in a square shape. • Use the jean pockets as canvasses and encourage your children to decorate however they like. • Allow the children to use fabric paint or fabric pens, glitter, stick-on-jewels, sequins, and whatever else they like to decorate their pocket canvases. • Once dry you can frame the pockets either on some thick card with another colour card border- or if you have one, in a clip frame. • As an extra-add on you could create a denim mural with all the children’s denim pockets together. • You could display all the children’s art together in a Jeans for Genes exhibition and ask parents to pay £1 to come and view their children’s art and donate the proceeds to Jeans for Genes.
