  1. John Haag Experienced Banking Executive John Haag started his long career at KPMG as an accountant and manager. He worked with KPMG for six years before moving on to JP Morgan. Most recently, Haag was a Managing Partner with Callister Haag Consulting, LLC based in San Francisco, California. Throughout his career, he has shown great ability and skill to develop and execute business strategies and originate fresh ideas and novel solutions grounded in practicality. John Haag has worked for decades as a business executive and banker with some of the largest banks in the world. His current and former colleagues all vouch for his excellent experience and ability. Janice Ellis, the founder and CEO of Sage Consulting said that Haag is “a consummate and competent professional.”

  2. John Haag John Haag has spent decades working as a business advisor and banker for several large companies during his career. His current and former co-workers all rave about his abilities to solve problems and help businesses thrive. Jody Thelander, the founder and CEO of Thelander and Associates, said that Haag is a “trusted adviser [sic] who has given input and encouragement throughout the growth and development of my business.” Haag lives in San Francisco. John Haag is a skilled business leader and advisor who has always impressed his colleagues with his fresh and original vision for solving problems and creating solutions. Janet Murley, a Brand Strategist and advisor to KKR, Friedman Fleischer and Lowe, said that Haag is one of the few “leaders who can infuse meaning into business strategies, work plans, and even organizational structures…” Haag lives and works in San Francisco.

  3. John Haag Leader of CallisterHaag John Haag is the leader of a business consulting firm with his name on the door, CallisterHaag. CallisterHaag isn’t a business strategy consulting firm, but it does help business leaders manage difficult transitions, invest in portfolio companies for venture capitalists, and helps them avoid bankruptcy if possible. Many companies that are in trouble come to CallisterHaag for ways to keep the investments coming and their revenues up. While CallisterHaag can’t devise marketing strategies or assist with public relations, it can provide businesses with a team of financial and risk management experts who can create opportunities for their clients to build on investments and ease the growing pains of transition.

  4. John Haag Three Basic Investment Banking Concepts John Haag has been a financial advisor, a turnaround manager, and a business leader for almost 30 years. He is a Managing Partner for the firm CallisterHaag, which works with companies to help them through difficult transitions, invest wisely, and secure investments themselves. Haag has many connections in the financial sector and has worked with a great many clients to help them find the best solutions to their problems and stay on track and abreast of their goals. He has extensive experience in investment banking. There are three ways to value a company for a potential investment. One of the most common ways investment bankers do this is discounted cash flows, which, as John Haag has done many times, involves creating a free cash flows forecast of a company and discounting them with the weighted average cost of capital.
