  2. Academic Background • Betty G Mackie has attended the North Carolina State University. • She is a UNC Charlotte graduate in English literature. • She has also attended the East Tennessee State University (ETSU), where she got a degree in Liberal Arts.

  3. Charitable Endeavors • Betty is a philanthropist and volunteers for literacy Council as office manager. • She heartily supports of March of Dimes; which is a well-reputed organization working to improve the health of babies and mothers with no-profit vision. • Betty is also allied with Susan G. Komen, a Breast Cancer foundation.

  4. Professional Experience • In addition to this, Betty G Mackie has been involved in many professions. She has worked as a business consultant, designer, health insurance agent, medical administrator and more. • From 1985 to 1999, Betty worked as a trainer in English Language and Literature and Writing with B and D Training Services. • She is also recognized for her writing skills; and since 2000, she has been working for the B and D Technical Writing Company. She writes about the products and services on company’s brochures, newspaper articles, product manuals as well as grant writings.

  5. Betty’s Expertise as a Renovator • Betty Mackie has also been a renovator and has overseen 5 home renovations. • She even designed the layouts and worked as general contractor for the new kitchens. • Along with this, she collaborated with the interior designers and owners to accomplish the task. • She also re-purposed many of the fixtures, including light, kitchen and bath, while keeping in mind the interior decor that matches well with the costal theme.
