Selecting different categories and individual object is easier with the added check boxes. Notice that the zero line geometry and empty text objects can be purged separately.   1. WHAT ARE THE NEW FEATURES OF AUTOCAD?

  2. • “AutoCAD is actually defined as computer-aided design and drafting software application with specialized time-saving tools to design anything” • It is used by construction professionals, architectures, and engineers to help them in drafting and editing 2D and 3D models with mesh objects, solids, and surfaces. It has been proven as an easy and quick way for designing with its specialized tools. Moreover, it was first released in December 1982 and up till now many improvements have been made by introducing new features. So, the new features of AutoCAD are:

  3. BLOCKS PALETTE: • The blocks palette improves the way you put blocks. This palette includes visual thumbnails of blocks making it easier to insert blocks from the Current drawing, Recent or other drawing tabs. You are able to select information which is desired to appear on the palette, by choosing various list types or various icon display sizes. Also, it becomes easier to filter the selected block. The “Recent tab” shows the most recently inserted blocks. Regardless of the current design, this process between drawings and sessions. Hence, the blocks palette gives the visual preview of the blocks alongwith insertion options like rotation, insertion points, scales and many more.

  4. QUICK MEASURES: • Measuring distance has become much faster by using the quick option of the “measure” key on command. When this option is active, the command displays dimensions, distances, and angles within a 2D drawing dynamically, by placing mouse over and between objects. The distance between two points is measured only when they are parallel. New dark theme: • This feature provides improvement in contrast, blue modern interface and sharper icons to prevent your eyes from strain.

  5. PURGE REDESIGN: • The purge feature is redesigned for easier design clean up and to help you understand why certain items can be purged. For easier viewing of the items that can’t be purged for the drawing, the “Find non-purgeable items” button can be used. You can also see the description that why thes items are not been able to purge.

  6. ENHANCED DWG COMPARE: • The DWG compare feature, introduced last release has been approved to be stand with your feedback so that, you can compare and make changes in real time. Now you can select the drawing you are to compare to the current drawing, the differences are displayed in the current drawing. With the introduction of the new tool bar, you can quickly turn on and off the comparison. The differences are highlighted in real time when you make changes to the current design. You can select the items from the compared drawing and import them to the current drawing in real time. Any object you imported will automatically turn gray, indicating that the object now existent both drawings and when you exit compare, the differences are no longer displayed.
