  2. Childhood... • She was born 6/1/61 in Sandringham England • Dad was Earl Spencer Mom was Mrs. Shand-Kydd • She had two older sisters Jane and Sarah and one younger brother Charles.

  3. Childhood... • When she was six her parents divorced. • Went to boarding school in Kent called West Health Public School. • Great at swimming • Not very good in school

  4. Adulthood... • Worked in london after school as a nanny or cook. • Taught a kindergarten class from 1979-1980 • Married Prince Charles in 1981

  5. Adulthood... • 1st child in 1982 Prince William • 2nd child in 1984 Prince Harry • Used fame and media to help causes • Devoted herself to her sons and charities

  6. Adulthood... • AIDS Research • A ban on Landmines • Many causes benefiting children • Princess Diana and Prince Charles divorced 1996

  7. Adulthood... • She developed an eating disorder • Died in a car accident • Funeral August 30, 1997
