  2. A little Madness in the Spring Is wholesome even for the King... Some refer to the season of spring as a rebirth, a reawakening of the world after the long winter.  Spring here at JSPL, Angul has been full of events and celebrations. The first week was dedicated towards celebrating International women’s Day with the community women, engaging them in regional games and competitions and we ended the financial year by organising a Voluntary Blood donation camp on the occasion of 8th Punya Tithi of Late O.P.Jindal Ji. Here are a few glimpses...

Teaching Learning Material distribution to Anganwadi centres Pursuant to the social mission of Jindal Steel & Power Limited towards strengthening of preschool education as part of Corporate Social Responsibility activity, we have responded to the expectations of the state government to equip the 40 Anganwadi Centres situated in 27 villages spread across Banarpal and Chhendipada blocks within JSPL’s periphery with educational tools and play school infrastructures.

Mega Specialist Health Camp on the occasion of Naveen Ji’s Birthday JSPL CSR, Angul organized a mega Specialist Health Camp at its occupational health centre (OHC) to mark the birth day of the company’s honourable Chairman Mr. Naveen Jindal on March 9 2013. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. D.K. Saraogi, Executive Director, JSPL. Around 1500 people including JSPL employees, their family members had undergone the screening test, out of which 600 were detected having vulnerability to various diseases who were provided consultancy by specialists today, community members and workers of the plant took advice from senior specialists in Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Diabetes and Cancer. 

  9. Mega Specialist Health Camp Mr. D.K. Saraogi(Executive Director, JSPL, Angul) and Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, Chairperson of Jindal Mahila Samiti (JMS) flagged off the Mobile Health Unit for doorstep health service delivery to people in periphery villages.

  12. Voluntary Blood donation camp on the occasion of 8thPunya tithiof Founder, Shri. O.P.Jindal Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) on Sunday observed the 8th Punyatithi (death anniversary) of its founder and Great Visionary Shri Om Prakash Jindal by organising two voluntary blood donation camps in partnership with District Red Cross Blood Blank at Angul town and in partnership with Rautala Yuva Gosthi in village Rautala  in which more than 210 units of blood  were collected.
