  17. Fill the Frame • Use the whole frame for impact • Details are often the best way to capture and explain the whole • One of the most common mistakes beginning photographers make is not moving in close enough

Applying the Photography Elements: Your Assignment • Create an 11-slide Power Point presentation: • 1 - Introductory Slide (title of presentation, name, class, etc.) • 2-10 - Photography Element Slides (all 3 on each slide): • Name of photography element • Coordinating photograph for element (returning students: at least 1/2 of presentation photos must be ones you took last year or this past summer for yearbook class) • Photo by, date taken, title of photograph • 11 - Reflection - What You Learned: • Highlight a few things you learned about yourself as a photographer through this assignment • You must explain how each photograph ties to the element • Slide design must not detract from your presentation (simple background or no background will work well) • Presentation Due Date: Monday, Sept. 6
