  3. 강의 소개 개 요 • Operation Research - 경영과학 (Operations research, Operational research, OR) 이라는 것은 의사결정에 도움을 받기 위해 수학적 모델, 통계학, 알고리즘들을 사용하는 것이다. - 경영자가 행하는 의사결정을 수학적으로 행하는 방법, 목적은 경영 전반의 관점에서 최적의 정책을 발견하는 것이며 그 때문에 자료를 수집하고 이를 분석, 그 사이에 존재하는 체계를 발견하는 과학적 방법을 쓴다. 그 방법으로서 LP, 시뮬레이션, PERT, 게임이론 등이 대표적이다. OR 의 가장 중요한 개념은 의사결정에 체계적이고 과학적인 접근방법을 사용한다는 것이다.
