Triblocal - lessones learned • Three things drive user-generated content: the print publication, contests and public appearances by the staff. • The most effective promotional vehicle appears to be the print weekly itself. • The initial advertising sale to a local business succeeds on the concept alone, but success in follow-up calls depends on the results generated by the ad. These small businesses don’t pay much attention to CPM (cost per thousand), because they can track the results in terms of traffic into their stores. www.futuroom.cz
