EnterpreneurialEducationAction Plan – Objectives • Activating young people to start their own business. • Stimulating and developing entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurship in education (all levels). • Acquiring the basic general entrepreneurial skills • Acquiring the basic job-related entrepreneurial skills entrepreneurship as an essential competence in the context of long life learning • Making students aware of the possibility of becoming a self-employed person. VLAJO – Flemish Young Enterprises www.vlajo.org • BLIK (14y) – 1st stage • 2 to 3 weeks • Science and economy • Focus on developing talents with a view to selecting studies and jobs • JIEHA (16-17y) – general - technical and vocational education • 8-12 weeks • Business plan • Sales project • Fair trade products • Small business (17-18y) general – technical and vocational education • 1 year • Business plan • Commercialising a product or service • possibilities for a European dimension (EWB) • Achieving competences in order to acquire the Business Management Certificate

  8. UNIZO – Union of Entrepeneurs • Department of eduction – entrepreneurship: • Learning company • 1 year • Run by students and supported by teachers and coaches of UNIZO • Achieving competences in order to acquire the Business Management Certificate www.ondernemendeschool.be

Practice Firms • WEB – vocational education • 16y -18y • A practice firm in a closed circuit. • The activities and transactions are coordinated by a central WEB-point www.websweb.be/Het_virtuele_kantoor • COFEP – technical and vocational education • 16y – 18y • Each practice firm trades with other practice firms. Practice firms network with over 5500 practice firms in 42 countries. www.cofep.be
