2. Bella was an ivory-skinned, no talkative girl. She enjoyed the sun, living with her mother in a sunny place. Her parents got divorced. For some reason, Bella had to move from Phoenix, which was a place always sunshine, to Forks, a place always covered with clouds and rains.

3. She had to enter a new high school. Because of her individuality, she didn’t fit in anywhere. She didn’t like to get along with common people. In fact, she was not a sociable girl. But she was a comforting person. There was a group of weird people. They looked pale, but also extremely beautiful. But they never get close to other people.

4. The youngest man among them was called Edward. Edward and Bella were in the same biology class. Because of the class, they knew each other. They were both special people so that they seems to be attracted to each other.  But Edward had some strange characteristic…

5. One day in the morning, Bella just arrived school. As she got out of her car, there was a dark blue van skidding. The van should hit Bella. But miraculously, Bella was all right. The truth was :  Edward saved her. But before the van skidded, Edward was standing far from her. How could he move so fast to recue her? That made Bella became to doubt him. And after several days, Edward saved her again from some bad guys when Bella was “alone”.

6. Because of the events, Bella decided to investigate him. When Bella went out with her new friends, her friends told her rumors about the special group in their town. Then Bella began to find answers for this. According to information she got, she was finally sure that Edward was a vampire.

7. “About three things I was absolutely positive.” “ First, Edward was a vampire.” “ Second, there was a part of him and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be that thirsted for my blood.” “ And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.” She insisted to make Edward recognize the truth. So the next day she made courage to check with him…

8. They soon fell in love. Everyone in school was shocked. Edward was so handsome but no one was able to approach him. Both of Edward and Bella were crazy about each other. Bella made courage to ask Edward the truth. Edward admitted. He showed his speed, strength, cold skin, and the appearance in the sun to Bella. Bella was not afraid.

9. Edward brought her home to meet his family, the Cullen family. The rule of Cullen family was that they didn’t drink human’s blood. They only drink the animal’s blood. But the crisis came. Edward’s family should trust Bella wouldn’t tell other people about the vampire thing.

10. Someday, there were another vampire group invading Forks. The bad vampire group found that there was a human in Cullen family. In fact, Bella’s blood was very attractive to those vampires. So they decided to kill Bella and drink her blood…

11. James, the bad vampire’s leader, decided to chase and kill Bella. They were cruel. Edward and his family took Bella away from Phoenix. But James faked to abduct Bella’s mother. Bella was cheated, so she escaped from Cullen family to rescue her mother. When seeing James, she was treated with violent, got seriously hurt. Then Edward and Cullen family came. They had a severe fight. After fighting, James was killed by them.

12. But Bella was bitten by James. She was dying. Edward should suck the wound to cure her. If he sucked too much blood, Bella still die. It was a big challenge for Edward. Bella’s blood was so delicious for him.

13. Finally, Edward succeed. He successed by the strong love. Then Bella and Edward could lead a peaceful life. The story between human and vampire would be continued.

Words you need to know… 1. cruiser: a kind of vehicle , in America, this is a car for the police man.     ex: The police took a crime into the cruiser. 2.ivory: the hard creamy-white modified dentine that composes the tusks of a tusked mammal (as an elephant, walrus, or narwhal)    ex: He turned into ivory-looked when hearing the news. 3.gawk:a clumsy stupid person   ex: When seeing that pretty girl, he can't help gawking on her. 4.sniff: to draw air audibly up the nose especially for smelling   ex: He likes to sniff the good smell of coffee. 5. giggle:to laugh with repeated short catches of the breath   ex: After hearing a joke, she burst out giggling. 6.antagonistic: actively expressed opposition or hostility    ex: She look antagonistic when seeing her competitor. 7.  irritation:to provoke impatience, anger, or displeasure in   ex: Being cheated by him, I was full of irritation. 8.drift: wind-driven snow, rain, cloud, dust, or smoke usually at or near the ground surface   ex: I saw many garbage drifting around the river. 9.genuine :actually having the reputed or apparent qualities or character   ex: I have a genuine heart to my boyfriend. 10.complimentary: expressing or containing a compliment.  ex: I was happy that my teacher was very complimentary about what I performed today.

15. 1 .gloom: A partial darkness; obscurity. Didn’t have enough food, his family was in a gloom atmosphere. 2 . sneer: To speak contemptuously or with ridicule. Hearing his suggestion, she only sneered with disagreement. 3. territory: Limited to a particular district. This place is the Cullen family’s territory. 4. shrug: To raise the shoulders to express disagreement, contempt, displeasure, etc. I shrugged at his mean activity. 5. scornful: Extreme contempt; haughty disdain; ridicule. She always feels better than others in a scornful expression. 6. glower: To stare threateningly or angrily; frown. He glowered resentfully at John because he broke his favorite collection. 7. absorb: To drink in; suck or swallow up. He wore the cotton T-shirt to absorb the sweat when exercising. 8. shove: To move along; crowd against others. He silently shoved the garbage to her space. 9. grin: To show the teeth in laughter, scorn, or pain. She grinned foolish at him. 10 chest : The breast or thorax. Because of nervous, I crossed my arms tightly across my chest.

16. 1.     silky: Resembling or consisting of silk.  The silky dress is good looking on you.  2.     snort: To force the air through the nose with a loud sound.  It is noisy that he always snorts when he was sleeping.  3.     predator: One who preys on others.  He is hungry like a predator.  4.     smirk: : To smile affectedly or conceitedly.  I hate that smirk when he knew the news.  5.     ignition: To set on fire.  The ignition of the house was cause by lightening.  6.     jade: A saucy young woman: used contemptuously or humorously.  She looks so innocent but actually everyone called her jade.  7.     intuitively: Known, or capable of being known, by the mind without reasoning.  Looking on his expression, I know there was something bad intuitively.  8.     nocturne: A picture of a night scene.  My mood was like a nocturne in that clear night.  9.     torture: To inflict extreme agony upon; put to the rack.  They caught her and began to tortured her to tell the truth.  10. labyrinth: A series of passages winding in and out of one another; a maze.  This building is like a labyrinth inside.
