Preliminary Task

This scene unfolds on a rainy day, enhanced by non-diegetic sounds from "Singing in the Rain," adding humor to the atmosphere. The story begins as the daughter walks through the door, setting up a match-on-action shot that connects her entry with her father's casual demeanor on the sofa. Props like an umbrella, keys, and a tea cup emphasize their domestic setting. The use of low-key lighting and pathetic fallacy through thunder and rain complements the dialogue, where the father humorously teases his daughter about her rain-soaked appearance. It’s a warm exchange highlighting family ties against the backdrop of bad weather.
