Bobby Knight, born Robert Montgomery Knight in 1940 in Orrville, Ohio, was a legendary basketball coach known for his intense coaching style and success in college basketball.   3. Family • Carrel [knights dad] died in 1970 and worked on railroads. • Hazel[ knights mom] was a teacher • Karen [ knights 2 wife] was a collage basketball coach just like knight was. • Nancy [knights x-wife] has 2 kids Patrick and Tim

  4. Famous • Got 4 NCAA invitations and exepded them • He got 4 natinal invitation tornaments • He coached through 1971,1976,1971,and 1987
