Exploring Nutrition: Task-Based Learning on Good and Bad Food Choices

This educational plan focuses on task-based learning centered around food and nutrition. Spanning 4-5 lessons, students will engage in activities to classify foods, analyze unhealthy eating habits, and understand the food pyramid. Time allocation of different learning activities • 4-5 lessons • By the end of each of the following lessons, students should be able to :- • Lesson 1- label, classify and match pictures of • different kinds of food with their names • Lesson 2- spot out Joe’s unhealthy eating habits and daily routine • Lesson 3- interpret and do a food pyramid quiz • Lesson 4- create a situation that Joe consult a doctor and the doctor gives him advice • Lesson 5- design a menu for Joe (pair/group work) and report to the class
