  3. Unit 6 – Redesign and Communicate In this activity, you will: -Consider how you could redesign your solution. -Share your prototype solution to the Structure Design for Earthquakes project.

  4. Redesign Solution DO: Get Form 6-1: Improve the Solution. DO: Write a technical report explaining how you could improve your solution. Make sure to answer the following questions. -Based on your observations, what changes could you propose to make to your design? Why? -How will these changes affect your courthouse performances in an earthquake? HINT: Use the information about Feedback on your System Evaluation. **MAKE SURE TO USE COMPLETE SENTENCES AND INCLUDE TERMINOLOGY AND VOCABULARY WE COVERED THROUGHOUT THE UNIT.**

  5. Communicate Solution COMPLETE ACTIVITY 6-2 by adding up the amount of supplies you used to figure out the total cost of your project.

  6. Gather Items NOTE: At this point in the project, you should have completed all of the work listed on Form 1-3: Structure Design Checklist. DO: Gather all of the items you will need to evaluate your work with the Structure Design Checklist. For the structural engineering project, you should have: - Your completed courthouse prototype and design sketch. (3-3) - Your EQT Packet (Completed) -Your EQT Question Packet (Completed) Congratulations!! You have completed the EQT Unit! Once you check to make sure everything is filled in, please hand your things into Miss Check.
