There are different requirements in terms of possible financial support in municipalities to upgrade the internet access speed

Technologie- und Gründer-zentrum Bautzen GmbH BAUTZEN INNOVATION CENTRE Next steps Evaluation of the possible technical scenarios to realise broad band internet access Decision for one out of three possible organisational and financial scenarios: - the administration of the district of Bautzen leads the project and realises internet access in the whole district (municipalities co-finance the expenditures) - interested municipalities form a union and realise internet access with financial support by the district and the Federal State - every municipality finds his own fitting solution in cooperation with IT providers and financial support by the district and the Federal State
