  1. Web 2.0. what is it, and what can it do?

Interactive Multimedia (IMM) • Interactive Multimedia are things like programs or websites that allow you to interact with it, and will respond to the persons actions with things like graphic, animation or video. An example of this would be a Video game. the advantages of IMM is that it’s fun, it’s easily accessible, it’s cheap and the fact that there is a huge amount of information on the internet, almost 100% guarantee that you find what you are looking for.

  3. Web 2.0 tools and applications • Web 2.0 is a leap into the future, and the tools and applications of it show just how amazing it really is. Web 2.0 allows for people to upload videos and information to website for the whole world to see, to applications like Java and Flash player which allow pop ups and videos to be interactive.

  4. Web 2.0 hardware and software • The hardware for Web 2,0 can be the basic things from the monitor to mouse, to graphics tablets which allow people to draw like an artist just on a computer. The software that comes from Web 2.0 are things like video games, tech drawing and Photoshop.

  5. Digital communication? • Digital communication is something that we all use, it’s just you don’t know it. digital communication is anything from phone calls, texting, emails, instant messaging and video chat. In other words, you are using technology to communicate with someone.

  6. How to beat IMM, Web 2,0 and digital communication • Sadly, just like all things. There is a negative side to Web 2.0 and digital communication. To beat the problems that the internet causes, one you have to monitor what the person is doing. Second thing is to have time limits, so they don’t become addicted and waste all day. Lastly, you can also add parental controls that can block users from going to a certain site, looking up certain words and not giving them the privileges to install programs to the device.
