How to use if-clauses Main sentence: Verb in indicative if/-clause: To express what happens or will happen if certain conditions are met. + Present or future Present Indicative ➨ Puedes estudiar aquí si vienes pronto (You can study here if you come early) Podrás estudiar aquí si vienes pronto (You´ll be able to study here if you come early) Main sentence: Verb in indicative if/-clause: To express a condition that is contrary-to-fact. + Conditional Imperfect Subjunctive ➨ Podrías estudiar aquísi vinieraspronto(You could study here if you came early)
