The assessment will be used as a baseline for students at the beginning of the semester. OWEI Assessment

This is a good tool to engage today’s learner. Videos and resources regarding work ethic
Students will be presented with a case analysis regarding the particular work ethic. Since this is a business class, they will address the work ethic from a manger’s perspective and identify constituents affected by the behavior. The hope is that by using an application approach for the ethic in their field of study, learning will be enhanced. Case analysis
Students will research two business articles discussing work ethics in today’s work force. Again, this will hopefully reinforce the importance of work ethics for success. Workforce Trends
Students will retake OWEI assessment and evaluate the beginning and ending scores. They will also provide feedback of the work ethic module training. End of semester feedback and reflection
The hope is that students will reflect on the particular work ethic and recognize their strengths and weaknesses. The instructor will also find out what students found to be effective and areas for improvement/changes. Work ethic feedback form.
