The Illinois Lottery held a "Ticket Grab Challenge" in Chicago, giving away over 1,000 free Powerball tickets in a wind tunnel. The event, promoting the $1.4 billion jackpot (the fourth-largest Powerball prize ever), drew hundreds of people. Lottery Director Harold Mays said the event increased player engagement and highlighted that a portion of ticket sales funds Illinois K-12 education. The lottery has contributed over $25 billion to education since 1985.<br>
