  2. Answer no here. Once you have answered all the questions remember to click the SAVE button.
  3. Put the place of birth exactly as it is written in your passport Once you have finished completing each page click “Save”. Then click “Next”.

  5. Click ‘Yes’ and enter the reference number of any previous UK visas. If you don’t know your reference numbers then answer ‘No’ to this question.
  6. If you have lived anywhere else in the UK in the past 5 years you need to answer ‘Yes’ and include everyaddress . Use the “Add another” button if you have lived at more than one address in the past 5 years.
  7. Please make sure that you tick every box. If you are unsure ask us!
  8. The reference number is the ‘VAF number’ and is printed on the visa in your passport in small, black text. The rest of this page can be found on the next slide.
  9. Make sure you answer all the above questions truthfully. If you answer ‘Yes’ to any, please tell us.
  10. Most students answers ‘No’ to this question Enter GWBETJJ6X and click ‘Look up’ Your CAS number is written on your CAS letter and is made up of letters and numbers.
  11. Copy the title of your course and the dates from your CAS letter. Check the ‘English Language’ section of your CAS letter. NQF 6= Undergraduate NQF 7= Masters NQF 8= PHD Do not copy from your friends, only input information you find on your own CAS!
  12. Copy the course fee from your CAS letter. University accommodation only (i.e. not private accommodation) Are you being sponsored by your government or international organisation? If yes, then you should be using our other tutorial! Most students answer ‘Yes’ to this question. If you are using your parent’s bank statement, you should answer ‘No’, and you will need: Parent’s bank statement a letter from your parent(s) Your birth certificate. All the documents need to be original, and translated into English if necessary.

  15. To see where a mistake was made, click the “Home” tab. The sections which need changing are the ones with the red cross. Once you have corrected the mistakes click “Next” then “Check application” Now the page should look like this!

Documents you will need include: Passport & Visa CAS letter Bank statements showing you have £7,200 plus any outstanding tuition fees (if you have already studied in the UK for more than 6 months than you will only need 1,600 plus tuition fees) . If you study in the London Centre amounts are different, please refer to our London tutorial.You must have had this money in your bank account for a minimum of 28 days. Certificates of previous qualifications - the list is on your CAS letter. If they are not in English they must be translated. 2 Photos (UK passport style) Credit/debit card to pay for your visa application online.
