  2. AZ Canal Multiuse Path • Construct a 10-foot concrete path along one side of the Arizona Canal from Chaparral Road to the Indian Bend Wash • Project also includes: • Pedestrian Bridges • Neighborhood Connections • Landscaping • Lighting • Public Art

AZ Canal Multiuse Path • Enhance mobility for bicyclists and pedestrians throughout the region • Provide connectivity to Papago Park, the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens, Tempe Town Lake and the Indian Bend Wash path system • The cities of Tempe, Phoenix and Scottsdale have been working to complete a 17-mile regional pathway system • Once constructed, this project will complete Scottsdale’s portion of the 17-mile loop • Total Project Budget of approximately $4M
