They will be encouraged to dream, plan, and create . as they work through achieving individual objectives. As they come up with ideas and work with friends, they will be guided through problem solving, interpersonal, and self -management skills Self-motivation, confidence, & discipline Themes throughout all fun fieldtrips and activities include: comes from having choices, dealing with the natural consequences of choices made, The power of “I” – what you can achieve with focus and effort and understanding how to make right choices. Outside the box – the start of everything Losing but not losing it – healthy competition Managing emotions – what to do with how I feel When things go wrong – fixing and moving forward At the end of this summer, they will not only have gained new friends and memories, They will have a new understanding of themselves, their world, and what they can do with it!
