The International ACM Conference on Management of Emergent Digital Ecosystems (MEDES ’13) • TeleSCoPE • Outcomes: • a set of four “Foundation Papers” used to outline the structure and contents of the Code of Practice (FP1 – Glossary of terms, FP2 – Ethics and good practice, FP3 – Overview of literature and background information, FP4 – Towards a Code of Practice for telehealth services) • a code of practice for Europe to assess and certify telehealth services • ten sections, each one containing a set of clauses establishing principles and requirements that European telehealth services should be compliant with • topics addressed include, among others, ethical principles, personal information management, contact with users and carers and interpretation of and responses to information Experiences and Perspectives of Digital Ecosystems European Projects October 28 – 31, 2013 Neumünster Abbey, Luxembourg
