We support universities to be (more) accessible for students with disabilities and raise awareness among teachers and support servicers. To establish a connection with the daily activities at a university, handicap + studie prefers to work closely with an educational institution.

Dutch facts National research shows: • One in three students has a disability • Ten percent of all students is being hindered by their disability during their study In The Netherlands this means 66.000 students in total.

Studyingwith a disability • There has been much attention in the accessibility of education for students with disabilities. • This was mainly developed in projects, while continuing attention to this issue is needed. • The structural anchoring of students with disabilities in the activities of the RU could still be improved.

Co-ordinatordisability project Her job is to get structural anchoring of disabled students at the activities at the university by getting her colleagues involved in the subject. How? By making them co-workers.
