  1. Machine Electrical Cabinet (EC)

  2. General Description • The electrical cabinet is located inside the electronics cabinet. • The electrical cabinet (structure) is comprised of the base and the panel door. • It receives the main power supply line from the machine – 3X230VAC + Natural + GND – (max.) total of 63A (per phase). • The electrical cabinet is responsible for the following functions: • PDU – power distribution to all components in the machine • Operation of UV Lamp Head • Operations of vacuum pumps • Protections (overheat and under speed) Confidential

  3. Panel Base Structure Confidential

  4. Input of main power line 3x230VAC+N+GND 63A Max (per phase) Input of UPS Auxiliary outputs Inputs • Power and auxiliary inputs are located at the bottom of the Electrical cabinet. Confidential

  5. Stabilizer and protection from spikes lightning and noise reducer (up to 20DB) CN1 Main contactor T1 – 12VAC Transformer for emergency switches Power Distribution Confidential

  6. S1- Main circuit breaker (4 pole) S2- Earth Leakage current barker Power Distribution (Cont.) Confidential

  7. S3 – UPS Breaker S4 – 24V DC PS Breaker S5 – DHC Panel S6 – Supply unit Breaker, Computer and peripherals S7 – Transformer Breaker. S8 – Breaker of Auxiliary 1 (J15) S9 – Breaker of Auxiliary 2 (J16) S11- Optional S12- Optional Power Distribution (Cont.) Confidential

  8. Indication Lights and switch Confidential

  9. Indication Lights • L1, L2, L3 – indicates power phases input. • UPS – Indicates UPS power input (external source for computers only. • ON – Lights up after machine initiates (like in the traffic light indicator). • VAC – Indicates when the vacuum pump is working. • HA – Not active • EM SWITCH – Light up as long as the emergency switches are not pressed. • MAIN/UPS switch selector – Manually switches between UPS and Main Power. Confidential

  10. F1 - Main power lamp L1 F2 – Main power lamp L2 F3 – Main power lamp L3 F4 – UPS lamp F5 – ON lamp F6 - E.M. lamp F7 – 24VDC out (DHC) lamp F8 – VAC lamp F9 – Not in use safety timer H3DE-M2(U6) Power Distribution (Cont.) Confidential

  11. How to adjust the safety timer H3DE-M2(U6) Should be on Sec’ Should be on 3 The Mode should be on D Power Distribution (Cont.) Confidential

  12. Power Distribution (Cont.) CN2 – UPS Contactor CN3 – VAC Blower contactor OL1 - Vacuum blower overload relay (up to 11A) 24VDC power supply (DHC) Confidential

  13. K2 - Transformer relay (12V red) K1 – EM. Switch relay K5 – Shutter relay 1 K6 - Shutter relay 2 K14 – Shutter closed redundant K15 – Shutter closed K3 – Vacuum blower K4 – UV ON K7 – BIT 1 (Power level) K8 – BIT 2 (Power level) K9 – BIT 3 (Power level) K10 – Alarm reset K11 – UV Ready K12 – UV Fault K13 – Bypass relay Safety Relays at the EC-Basis Confidential

  14. Electrical Cabinet Panel • The panel includes: • Drum heat controller board – receives the requested UV capacity level from the computer and operates the UV lamp head via the UV cabinet. • Controls of two under speed protection (tahco generator and under speed sensor). • Controls of two separate Overheat protections – temperature reading from to IR sensors under the drum is compared to preset value in two separate voltage relays. If the potentiometer on the voltage relay is set to 0.8, it means that the overheat message will appear if the relevant IR sensor reads more then 80ºC. • Dryer enable, HA fans and IR controls, controls operations of all pumps. Confidential

  15. Door Panel • Voltage relay I – setting the potentiometer to 1 (max) will result in the overheat 1 message at 100ºC . • Voltage relay II – setting the potentiometer to 1 (max) will result in the overheat 1 message at 100ºC. • Normally both units are set to 0.8, which means that the Overheat will be set to 80ºC. Confidential

  16. Controller Board (Drum Heat Controller) Confidential

  17. Panel Door Indication Lights Confidential

  18. Panel Door Indication Lights • OV1 – First protection for Over heat(Reading temp’ from first IR sensor) • OV2 – Second protection for Over heat(Reading temp’ from second IR sensor) • Tacho speed – First protection for drum under speed from the tacho generator on the drum motor • PROX speed – Second protection for drum under speed, monitoring the drum movement by the under speed sensor • 24VDC, 24VAC – Indication lights of controls • Enable – Dryer enable signal Confidential
