What I have done so far • Figured out what environment I will be using(Eclipse) • Set up my environment (3x) • Fixed missing SDK Manager in Eclipse • Installed JDK on 2 computers • Asked my mom to get an android development book • Set up the emulator for the android development process ___________________________________________________________________ • Made mock project to work on to learn android DEV. • I have competed 64 pages in the WAD book • Watching Lynda.com watched 17 videos on starting Android and a couple refreshers of Java

  3. Current Problems • Some times the emulator crashes • It won’t run a simple “Hello World” program • Still trying to figure out how to run things on the emulator • If I get a new android phone I will attempt to run it off my phone so it seems more realistic _________________________________________________________________________ • The emulator takes 5 minute or more to load and have to re-start emulator every time I want to test new code

What I plan to do • I plan to start working through the book my mom got for me by the start of next week. • And start seriously coding not just messing around with the app also on Monday • Hope to have at least the log in screen done in 2 weeks • Then start to work on the profile page • Next The projects page ______________________________________________________________________ • Finish the WAD book in the next 2 weeks • Then start coding on the actual project

  5. MECA Challenge • Applied for MECA Challenge • Accepted into MECA • Made MECA event in the calendar on Basecamp • First Day of MECA yesterday • Sunday • Saturday

  6. Buisness Project • Velidity Screening, just got put on project

  7. Royals People Counter Internal • Went to meeting • Added to Basecamp project
