  3. Rice is the staple diet in any Malay meal.It is often served for almost every meal.Most meals are eaten by using your fingers.Except for pork ,all other types of meat are popular choices.

  4. Eat only with right hand • Try not to eat too much that they are full • Wash their hands before and after meals. • Do not finish their drink in one swallow • Make 3 pauses whilst drinking • Only eat halal food • Do not eat haram food

  5. SataySatay is a popular Malay dish. Pieces of marinatedchicken or beef are skewered and cooked over a charcoal fireand periodically brushed over with oil.Then it was served with a special peanut sauce.

Pulut LepaMade of glutinous rice and fish, this snack food is prepared over a barbecue.Boiled fish meat is mixed with sliced onions, and dried chilies and coconut.The mixture is cooked until it is dry.This is then used as a filling for the glutinous rice rolls.Wrappings of banana leaf cover the food before it is cooked over the fire .

  9. Malay food is famous for its spicy flavour. From curries to rendang,Malay food is anything but bland. Malay dishes aredistinguished by the liberaluse of coconut milk and spices.

  10. A typical spread for lunch or dinner would include rice, some form of gravy (curry or kuah), a meat or fish dish and vegetables. A popular vegetable dish is ulam or lalap, which are raw vegetables taken with a dash of hot spicy sauce (sambal). The most popular of these is sambal belacan, a sauce made of fermented shrimps. Indeed, no Malay meal is complete without the sambal.
