  2. US ArmyOfficer Candidate Course • Must be a US Citizen, college graduate and at least 18 years old (but not older than 40). • 12 weeks of intense classroom and field training in Ft. Benning, GA. • Phase 1 will focus on developing leadership skills required of a commissioned officer. • As a Senior Phase Candidate in Phase 2, you are tested on both leadership abilities and your ability to work as a team during an intense 18-day training mission.

  3. US ArmyLoan Repayment Program • The Army will repay the remaining original (verified) unpaid principal on qualifying loan(s) acquired prior to entry on active duty. • Payments made under the program are considered as taxable income in the year(s) that payments are made. • The Army will repay 33 1/3 percent or $1,500 per year, whichever amount is greater, after the Soldier's successful completion of each year on active duty.
