Harmonization of a set of core variables

This report explores the harmonization of core variables as a first step towards integrating statistical accounting systems for social reporting. It discusses current practices in Member States, the context of social reporting, and the joint report on the social situation by Eurostat and DG V. The report also proposes a harmonized set of tables in social reports as a tool for international harmonization.
