  2. Member Control Panel 1. Sign in to your account in Moderntailor. If you do not yet have an account, you may register by clicking on the "Login/Register" link. 2. Once logged in to your account, you will be directed to your control panel. 3. Click on the "Start Designing Your Shirt Now" link.

  3. Start Designing Your Shirt 3. Click on "Dress Shirt Design" button to proceed.

  4. You may narrow your search by filtering the fabric either by "Fabric Price, Color, Pattern, Material, etc" or if you are looking for "Easy Care or Non-Iron" fabrics. Step 1: Select Fabric. 4. Select the fabric by clicking on "Choose This Fabric" link below the fabric description.

  5. Moderntailor has about 18 collar types in different back height and collar point lengths. Step 2: Choose Collar 5. Start the design by selecting the type of collar.

  6. Removable Collar Stay will not be available if you select “Soft” collar lining. Step 2: Choose Collar You can also choose the collar lining (e.g. Stiff, Soft, Common) and include a removable collar stay. 6. Do you want a different fabric for your collar? You can do this by clicking on the "Select Fabric" link under Contrast Collar. Click "Reset" if you want to clear your previous selection. Click "Choose your cuffs" button to proceed to the next page.

  7. Step 2: Cuffs 7. Select the type of cuff. We have six (6) types of cuff design for your long sleeve dress shirts and two (2) for short sleeve shirt.

  8. Step 2: Cuffs 8. Contrast cuffs can also be selected here by clicking on "Select Fabric" link under Contrast Cuffs. You can also choose an "Inside fabric for collar and cuff" in this page. 9. When finished, click on "Choose your pockets" button.

  9. Step 2: Pockets & Monogram 10. Choose your pocket style from our 4 types of 1 or 2 pocket designs. You can also opt for "No pocket" design.

  10. Step 2: Pockets & Monogram 11. To create a more personalized look, add a monogram by selecting a font, the position and text for the monogram. 12. Click on "Choose your fit" button to proceed to the next page.

  11. Step 2: Fit 13. From here you will be able to select the type of placket for your shirt. Looking for a tuxedo design? Tick the checkbox under "Tuxedo" and we will create your tuxedo dress shirt.

  12. Step 2: Fit & Buttons 14. Select the buttons to use. We highly recommend the Mother of Pearl buttons. Button thread and buttonhole threads can also be selected here.

  13. Have a shirt design that you want us to copy? Click the “Choose File” button to upload the image. Step 2: Fit & Buttons 15. Select the fit of your shirt (i.e. Normal Fit, Slim Fit and Loose Fit). 16. Select the type of pleats and the design of the bottom of your shirt.

  14. Step 2: Fit & Buttons You can also enter additional specifications or requests on the textbox provided. 17. Click "Go to measurement" button.

  15. Still not sure about your measurements? Let us take care of it for you by sending us one of your well fitting shirts. We will do all the measuring for you and save it in your profile for use with your shirt order and future orders as well. We'll send your sample shirt along with the new one. Email sales@moderntailor.com for more info. Step 3: Measurement 18. If you have initially created a measurement profile, it will be displayed in this page. Select the profile that want to use then click "Add to Cart". If you do not have a measurement profile yet, you can create one by taking measurements from existing well fitting shirt, from your actual body measurement or standard size. Click on “Click Here to start”, depending on how you want to be measured.

  16. Even at this stage, you may still make changes to your design by clicking on the “Edit” link. Step 4: Checkout Repeat the process if you need to order another shirt with a different fabric. When you are finished, click on the “Checkout” button to process the payment.
