Playground Reminders • If the bell rings, this means it’s time to start tidying up the Scrapstore items. • When the whistle blows, it is time to head to your lines for line-up. • If you are playing in the All Weather Pitch and the ball goes outside of the schools grounds, please inform an Auxiliary, so that the ball can be collected by the Janitors and not forgotten about. Thank you!

  7. The Salvation Army Today we had a visitor on behalf of The Salvation Army called Michael. He was telling us all a little bit about what The Salvation Army do, and things that we can do to help as well! We can help raise money for our School by recycling our old clothes. Instead of putting our old clothes in the bin, you can pop them in a black bag and take them into School and the Salvation Army will collect all of our old clothes and put them to good use!

  8. Well done to… Erica, Molly, Ailsa and Jess for competing in a Highland Dancing competition in Inverness at the weekend. The girls brought home lots of trophies and medals – well done girls!

  9. Well done to… Mark for competing alongside Dad in the Bisgeos Race in Westray at the weekend. Mark did 3 miles, and Dad won overall doing 12 miles! They did it to raise money. Here is Mark showing off their certificates! Well done!

  10. Well done to… Catherine and Stella for competing in a Reading Challenge at the Library. They did lots of crafts and both won a Certificate and a Medal. Good work girls!

  11. Well done to… All those who took part in the Triathlon at the Pickaquoy Centre on Sunday. Amelie came first in her age group, and explained what a triathlon was. They had to swim, cycle and run! Wow, well done everybody!

  12. Well done to… Jack for receiving a rosette from the County Show. He won first prize, and a second overall in the Junior section for his cockerel.

  13. Well done to… Sophie, Meghann and Jenna as they have joined Brownies. The girls haven’t been there for long, but they’re hoping to be awarded their “Promise” badge soon.
