  36. Job description • I’m a volcanologist. You know, volcano eruption can cause great damage. No one lives near the top of volcanoes and the lava will bury everything in its path. Though it’s dangerous, I don’t mind. The reason why I choose the job is that I can help protect ordinary people from volcanoes. I often work with the scientists from all over the world to collect and evaluate the information about the volcanoes. We can save many lives by predicting the danger and warning people to leave, which I feel proud of. But I also feel sorry for its damage. • I shall never forget my first sight of volcano eruption. One night, in my dream, I felt my bed shaking, heard a strange sound like a train passing my window, and saw my bedroom become as bright as day. Immediately, I ran out and saw it in the distance. Seeing it, I felt excited for its beauty. The next day, we put on special clothes, made our way to the crater. And my colleagues climbed down and collected some lava. • As a volcanologist, I should be brave, for my job is not safe. And I also think I should be optimistic so that I can find joy from the dangerous job. First job experience qualities vOLCANOLOGIST
