  2. Sources of geometry So many sources of geometry into each kitchen such as: • The furniture, • The domestic appliances, • The tableware, • The celling lights, • The food… Let us look at few concrete examples…

  3. Lines The line is straight (no curve)

  4. Angles Two straight lines with a common end point

  5. Triangles The triangle is a polygon with three sides

  6. Quadrilaterals The quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides

  7. Polygons The polygon is a closed shape that has at least three sides: Triangles, quadrilaterals, rectangles, squares…

  8. Circles A circle is a curved line that is equal distance from a central point
