  2. Description What does it look like? • Baleen or Toothed? Toothed! • Size and WeightCan reach up to 7.5 – 8.5 feet, in length. Weighs as much as 297 pounds,(135 kg) • Color(s) The back of the common dolphin is dark gray, to black on the top then to the tail as the sides are a v. The dorsal fin is yellowish and tan. Its stomach is white. There are large dark circles at the eyes followed by a dark line that runs across the head to behind the beck, while a black stripe thatgoes down to the jaw and the flippers. • Surface Characteristics
