Comprehensive Guide to Urinary System IVP/IVU Procedures and Function Assessment

This document outlines the IVP (Intravenous Pyelogram) or IVU (Intravenous Urogram) procedures for assessing kidney function. It details a timed examination with exposures taken at various intervals, including oblique views and specific positioning techniques. The guide elaborates on catheterization for retrograde urography, the visualization of ureters, and conditions diagnosed such as renal cell carcinoma and urinary tract obstructions.
