The Granthi reads the first Lavan Stanza of the marriage . both the groom and bride stand and walk around the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. usually close family members of both families stand behind the Guru as a show of support and love for the couple as they circle the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This is repeated three more times and after the couple have circled the Guru Granth Sahib Ji for the fourth time, the couple are married according to Sikh religion. The Granthi will lead Ardaas for all sangat who should all stand during the recital.After Ardaas Guru prashad is given to the sangat......
