2. Introduction • This document puts forward detailed media plans for the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Campaign running from Autumn 2006 through to Spring 2009. • We have currently worked to a media budget of £155,000 over this period inclusive of media commissions. This budget has been allocated by PCT in proportion to the target population for each region. • The media plans have been based upon estimated buying rates and we have made allowances for likely rate increases as we move into 2007 and beyond. Outdoor rates are guideline only as these will be subject to actual site location availability, and sites in prime locations are normally charged at a premium to standard site rates. • We have yet to finalise actual door to door volumes however costs are based upon ‘with newspaper’ delivery and detailed quantities will be provided once the overall plan has been approved.
