Get into the holiday spirit by decorating your classroom door! Our festive contest invites you to showcase your creativity and compete for the “Best of” title for your Academy. Themes to inspire you include: Holiday Foods, Winter Sports, a Giant Snow Globe, and more! Join us on the designated Wednesdays (12/1 & 12/8) to start crafting your design. Supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your own materials. Judging by Curriculum Specialists begins on 12/9, with winners announced before Winter Break. Let's make our FAS family shine!

The holidays are here, yo! • YES, this is a boring PowerPoint…no pictures, no color, no nothing – B-O-R-I-N-G! • SO, decorate your doors for the holidaze with your FAS family! • Create the best design and WIN “Best of ” for your Academy! HERE ARE SOME THEMES TO GET YOU STARTED: Holiday Foods Winter Sports Academy Theme A Giant Snow Globe “Who’s that knockin’ on my door?” Pictures of students superimposed on Elve/Reindeer/Santa body Characters/Cartoons celebrating the holidays A Big Present, or A Bunch o’ Presents for each FAS student Holiday Celebrations from other countries Movies – Holiday-Based Holiday films Home for the Holidays – Where are your FAS students from?

Well, then, get to it… • There are 3 Wednesday FAS’ set aside for this – today, 12/1, & 12/8 • Some supplies will be provided, but you will need to be creative and supplement depending upon your FAS’s design and/or theme • Curriculum Specialists will begin judging on Thursday, 12/9 • Winners will be announced prior to Winter Break • All artwork must be appropriate for the school setting
