  1. South Beach Xtreme Sports Looking to increase business? Elevate your incomes without wiping out your wallet? Can this even be possible?

  2. Indeed it is. Introducing The Beachcomber • Since 1927, our paper has been striving to inform students and businesses around the Miami Beach community and has succeeded in doing so. Along with this, we focus on local up-and-coming businesses that show great potential but fall short in the advertising scene. The Beachcomber gives opportunities, to businesses such as yours, to become known by not only the 2,000+ students at Beach High, but to the remaining 3,000 people who receive The Beachcomber.

  3. Advertising Attempts? • “What? South Beach Xtreme Sports? I’ve never heard of it” - Serene Gato, sophomore • “The only [sports] shop I’ve heard of is Sports Authority and that’s where I go whenever I need something athletic” – Julio Lopez, senior • “I went there once. It’s a good small shop with great gear but it was pretty dead so I never went back” – Carla Barrionuevo, sophomore

  4. “Me and my friends don't participate in any sports but we're interested in joining but we don’t see many ads for sports shops anywhere. If the Beachcomber had an ad for a place I would definitely go, and I'm sure my friends would too” -Maria Morales, sophomore 51%of students say they buy athletic wear even though they are not involved in sports and75%of students say that if they saw an advertisement from a sports shop in The Beachcomber, they would check it out.

HakunaMatata “Thank you Beachcomber!  Advertising in your newspaper has brought Blissberry great customers.  Thanks for the exposure.”  -Kim Pham, Blissberry owner According to a recent survey conducted at Beach High, 22.3% of students claimed to not know of Blissberry before they put an ad in the paper. Shockingly, an amazing 72% say they were aware of it after they saw it in The Beachcomber. Store Awareness
