  1. Family Planning and Sexual Health Association* Protects human rights;* Tries to achieve that all families would be healthy and happy, and babies are born wanted, healthy and loved in Lithuania; * Stimulates the interest of population to reproductive and sexual health;

  2. *Tries to reduce the number of abortions as much as possible;* Makes efforts that people and families would have an access to necessary information and exercise their right to make free and informed choice in family planning;* Tries to achieve that all women and men would be healthy and know how to protect themselves against unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, how to use modern contraceptives and would use them;

  3. There are more than 50 unplanned pregnancies for 100 births in Lithuaniaincluding abortions and births under 18 years old

  4. 90% of abortions are made terminatingsecond or further pregnancy

  5. 7,1% of abortions are made for girls under 19 years old

  6. 34% of sexually active couples usecontraception means

  7. 5% of women use oral hormonal pills

  8. 20% of sexually active men use condoms

  9. 57% of 18-19 years old couples do not use contraception means

  10. Barriers in Family Planning • Expensive contraception 2,5–8 USD hormonal pills 1,5 USD 3 condoms • Surgical sterilization is not allowed • Counseling on contraception is not sufficient • There are no FP centers
