EDITORIAL vs. ADVETORIALS Almost half of LOULOU’s editorial content is written specifically for the needs of each audience, reflecting the different shopping habits and retail sources for Canadian women. ADVETORIALS: hard to find, should be marked… but magazine don’t always do this. EDITORIALS: in order to distinguish pure editorial content, the fashion items used must be from a variety of companies.
  7. ADS + EDITORIALAKA ADVETORIALS These are found in the coupon pages of the magazine. Here, it is obvious the advertisers are paying for their product to be featured in the magazine…but editors are also writing about the product, stating their own opinion. Example: editors shopping with style and Thinsations TOTAL COUNT= 7
  8. FULL EDITORIAL PAGES These are the editorial pages which include service pieces and features. The features are usually on “how to get that look” which will be explained later. The features in this magazine are very scarce. Overall the count is: 109
  9. CLASSIFIED ETC. Classified and/or business-card and/or community-calendar pages 5all found at the very back of the book, “Local Promotions” right before a full page of coupons for the readers. This is found on the page 188- 189 right before the back cover.
