  2. What Is It? • Goal: To count your calories, and help you control your weight. • Myfitnesspal is a calorie counter. It is designed to help you track your daily intake of calories everyday. • Simply place in the app. how many calories you want to eat a day, (Ex. 1,500) then input food every time you eat. • TRY AND STAY NEAR YOUR MARK!

  3. Where Can I Get It? • Myfitnesspal is a mobile application. • You can download it right onto your phone.

  4. How much does it cost? • Myfitnesspal is totally free!

  5. How Do I Use It? • Once you’ve downloaded the application. Go to Diary. • Press the “+” to add food. • Type in what you ate. * If you meal doesn’t appear you can scroll down the bottom and create it or you can use “Quick Add Calories Only” for a fast solution. • When you see what you ate appear, click it and the next screen will tell you about the food Nutrition Facts, as well as let you select the number of servings you had for that food. • After you have used the application for awhile this screen will also start to pair frequently selected foods with others for fast and easy selections. So foods you eat all the time you do not have to continuously look up, they will always be close to eat other.

  6. Does It Do Anything Else? • Myfitnesspal will also track how much you have exercised. • Go to diary and press the “+”. • Then go down to exercises. • Here you are able to imput cardiovascular or strength exercises. The app. will then subtract the calories you’ve burned off the calories you’ve eaten for the day. • When you are finished logging all your food for the day the application will tell you based on the number of calories you’ve eaten that day where you would be in five weeks. • There is also a sidebar on the application called, “progress” that you can track your entire progress from the very beginning.

  7. What’s Important To Remember? • Myfitnesspal is only a calorie tracker, it is not a full diet program. YOU have to do the work. YOU have to input everything. • If YOU are not honest with your calories YOU will not see results. • If YOU do not weight yourself everyday and track it, YOU will not see results. • Everything rest on your shoulders to make it happen!

  8. How Can It Be A Benefit The Person Using It? • It helps you set goals, and keeps you on track of them. • When you download the application you set a goal weight. • Weather you want to lose weight, maintain your current weight, or even gain weight.
