  2. Mount of Blessing p.84 • Have a place for secret prayer. Jesus had select places for communion with God, and so should we. We need often to retire to some spot, however humble, where we can be alone with God. {MB 84.1}

  3. PRAYER • And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: and I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession. Dan. 9:3, 4. {TMK 271.1} • Daniel's example of prayer and confession is given for our instruction and encouragement. . . . Daniel knew that the appointed time for Israel's captivity was nearly ended, but he did not feel that because God had promised to deliver them, they themselves had no part to act. With fasting and contrition he sought the Lord, confessing his own sins and the sins of the people.... {TMK 271.2}

  4. Daniel 11 • The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecy of the eleventh chapter of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place. {9T 14.2}

  15. The Time of RefreshingThe Latter Rain • The work of the investigative judgment and the blotting out of sins is to be accomplished before the second advent of the Lord. Since the dead are to be judged out of the things written in the books, it is impossible that the sins of men should be blotted out until after the judgment at which their cases are to be investigated. But the apostle Peter distinctly states that the sins of believers will be blotted out "when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and He shall send Jesus Christ." Acts 3:19, 20. When the investigative judgment closes, Christ will come, and His reward will be with Him to give to every man as his work shall be. {GC 485.2}

  16. Blotting Out of SinsDay of Atonement • Conclusions: • 1. The house of God is judged first • 2. judgment has passed onto the living • 3. If sins of saints are blotted out they are sealed and saved • 4. The sealing is at the beginning of the latter rain • 5. God’s people must be ready to be sealed before the latter rain starts • 6. The sealed proclaim the last call to mankind • 7. The sealed know the message • 8 . The living sealed are known as the 144,000 • 9. Contemplate Rev. 7:9 “After this” Last day conversions

  17. OUR CHURCHES • The Lord has set before me matters which are of urgent importance for the present time, and which reach into the future. . . . I was assured that there was no time to lose. The appeals and warnings must be given. Our churches must be aroused, must be instructed,that they may give the warning to all whom they can possibly reach, declaring that the sword is coming, that the Lord's anger upon a profligate world will not long be deferred. I was shown that many would listen to the warning. Their minds would be prepared to discern the very things that it pointed out to them. {3SM 413.2}

WHO AND WHEN • Who is going to arouse? • Who is going to instruct? • When are we going to start? • The last signs – fire, flood, earthquakes are everywhere • Compare hurricanes and tornadoes to the days of Job when and how he lost his children - Who caused it all? • Some of our cities left desolate already • Banks are failing The United States is Bankrupt!!! Now!!! • Insurance companies are gone - overnight • Retirement funds have vanished • Financial Security is disappearing! • And this is the richest country in the world • GOD IN HEAVEN – WAKE US UP!
