  1. LINEA DE RUMBO O LOXODROMA ÁMBITO: Geografía Sobre la superficie de la Tierra se llaman líneas de rumbo constante o loxodromas a las curvas que cortan a los meridianos bajo un ángulo constante. Dicho de otro modo, son trayectorias a lo largo de las cuales no varía la posición de la aguja de la brújula. Son las derrotas más fáciles de seguir por un barco o por un avión. Por tanto, se utilizan en la navegación.
