  3. When should I start thinking about VCDX ? • Prerequisites • VCP, VCAP-DCA, VCAP-DCD • Experience in design • Hands-on experience in technology • VCDX bootcamp or VMware design course • VCDX Blueprint

  4. VCDX – project documentation • Start as soon as possible • Good project idea • Real life vs. factious design scenario • More detailed design = less question you get on defence • Don’t include technology which you don’t know • Let someone review your project

  5. Defence preparation • Presentation • As short as possible • About me – 1 slide • Project description - 1 slide • Project goals – 2 slides • How project goals were achieved. 1-2 slides • Additional Visio drawings (as many as you think you should have) • Mock defence !

  6. VCDX defence panel • Get on time • Don’t get stressed – VCDX panellist are humans beings too  • Presentation – shorter then better • Answer quickly and hit a nail in the head • Keep talking and use whiteboard - design and troubleshooting scenario. • Watch a clock.
