  2. Summary • Corporate success is interpreted in terms of:- • Profit making • Environmental concern • Social responsibility • CSR is not new concept. Its exist from time immemorial. It has undergone changes With time. Today the emphasis is on empowering the community rather than feeding This will have lasting impact.

  3. Objectives • Is CSR an integral part of corporate sector? • What extent they have succeeded? • Is today CSR a need or luxury of the day? • Best HR practices followed by the corporates to fulfill their csr towards employees

  4. Scientific Questions • Can without conducive environment & good human relations labor force in corporate sector be productive? • Is absence of good ergonomics ,safety & healthy programs results in more absenteeism and more turnover? • Does money matter? • 4.Is Happy worker is a Productive worker? • 5.Is Corporate has to fulfill its corporate citizen responsibility along with economic objectives?

  5. Sources of Data • In view of conceptual and time constraints • secondary sources of data used such as • Books 2. Case studies. • 3. Newspapers. 4. Journals. • 5. Magazines. • Methodology used :- • Analysis of case studies, reports, surveys. • Examine their conclusions in the light of theories.

  6. Conclusion • Unethical practices derails the organization and ultimately results in closure. • Corporates have achieved balance between ethical values and profit making have performed better. • CSR is a voluntary activity .It has a matter of intent rather than a compulsion.

  7. Suggestions • Cherish people and relationship much more than physical assets. • Corporates have to respond with empathy, imagination and good judgement. • The role of government should also be encouraging and enforcing corporate social responsibility in business.
