The 11th Party document on directions and tasks of the health sector • The goal for the next 5 years is “... comprehensively promote reform process; ... laying down foundation so that by 2020 Vietnam will basically become an industrialized country toward modernization.”  The 11th Party indicate following tasks: - Improving quality, effectiveness, stable development, mobilizing and use resources effectively - Generating obvious advance in the progression toward societal equity, assuring social security, reducing poverty rate; and improving people's health care conditions.
