Your tone also should change to let the audience know that you are reading sentences that end in question marks or exclamation marks. There is a tree mural on the wall to the left of the door when you walk in and his bed is to the right. He has a monkey bed spread and curtains and he has monkeys painted on the tree mural. He has a rather large room for an eight year old but it really doesn’t look very large because of all the mess on the floor all the time. As a child I was a bit messy myself but nothing like him. 34. As you can see, in my revised draft I have given the reader enough information to help them develop a picture in their mind of my nephew’s room. In many kinds of writing it is important to pay attention to the voice and tone of the piece. You should choose the best words to fit your piece. For example, if you are revision a how-to paragraph, you will want to include lots of specific details so the readers will understand you instructions. T405 Revise
