After 18 months of age the cubs hunt on their own. • Also a Bengal tiger can eat up to 40 pounds of food. • A Bengal tiger eats monkeys and frogs for little stuff but for a whole meal they may eat wild pigs and deer.

  3. Bengal tiger behavior • Bengal tigers hunt like every other tiger they pounce on their prey then bite its neck to kill it. • Tigers find mates like this: A male tiger sets up a territory using many different things including smells and scratch marks. When a female tiger comes up to the territory it may like the male and vice versa. They might mate.

  4. Bengal tiger habitat • Bengal tigers live in Asia but mostly around India • Bengal tigers are found in mangrove swamps and jungles and dense forests

  6. Extinction/ endangered • tigers are becoming endangered because in China you can make a lot of money selling poached tigers (even though it’s illegal) also in china lots of tiger parts can go in medicines. • 1 of the ways you can help raise awareness for tigers is by going to stars in the wild and purchasing a tiger stuffed animal. • 3 tiger species have become extinct and bengal tigers are endangered.

  7. White tigers • white tigers are white because of a defective recessive gene that is passed down. Also black tigers are black for that very same reason. • There are only white Bengal tigers no other kinds.
